High protection against moisture and dust
The hood covers the top and sides of the pallet, creating a much more complete barrier against rain, dirt and outdoor storage.
Protect palletized loads with a high-performance stretch hood that improves stability, outdoor resistance and the final appearance of the pallet.
Our system applies a stretch tubular hood that adapts to the pallet contour without heat, improving stability, weather sealing and the final presentation of the load.

Stretch Hood process
Stretch Hood is an automatic hooding system that applies a stretch tubular hood over the palletized load. The machine forms the hood, opens it, stretches it and applies it from the top so the film wraps the pallet with even tension, delivering protection, stability and a clean finish.
How the machine works
Stretch Hood advantages
The hood covers the top and sides of the pallet, creating a much more complete barrier against rain, dirt and outdoor storage.
The uniform film tension holds the unit load together and reduces movement, deformation or openings during handling and shipment.
Because it does not require thermal shrink, energy consumption is reduced and installation is simpler than gas or oven-based solutions.
Stretch Hood film provides a more uniform presentation with useful transparency for branding, labels and barcode reading.
It is an especially solid solution when high volumes, harsh logistics conditions or standardized packaging quality are required.

FAQ
When the load also needs top protection, will be stored outdoors or requires higher stability with better sealing.
In general it is a cleaner and more efficient alternative, with significant savings in materials and energy, but the final choice depends on pallet geometry, throughput and the required protection level.
Yes. It is usually studied as part of the end-of-line project so it can be integrated with transport, strapping, palletizing and dispatch systems already present in the plant.
We analyse your references, production rate, required protection and integration with the rest of the end of line to define the most suitable solution.
