Hooding machines

The Stretch Hood pallet hooding system delivers maximum load stability and protection by applying tubular film that stretches and adapts to the pallet contour. This technology ensures hooding with a high-quality finish.

Compared with other packaging systems, it can save up to 50% in consumables and energy because it uses only the exact amount of film required and does not need thermal energy or gas installations. It also speeds up the end of the line with outputs of up to 120 pallets/hour.

The film provides total waterproofing and resistance to water, dust and UV rays while improving transport stability. Its transparency enhances brand visibility and code readability and makes possible tampering or damage easier to detect.

Shrink hooding fully adapts to the contour and shape of the pallet because the film contracts when heat is applied. This adaptability enables uniform, safe and effective packaging for loads with very different geometries.

The system also provides firm load retention for better pallet handling and transport while leaving the goods fully protected and sealed against rain, humidity, dust and UV rays. Thanks to its close fit around the product, it is especially suitable for picking operations.

The machine can automatically hood different pallet sizes and supports automated, optimized production, reaching outputs of up to 60 pallets/hour.
